Brazil and Malaysia Together in Semiconductor Innovation


In April, the partnership between Brazil and Malaysia will reach a new level with the Brazil x Malaysia Bilateral Semiconductor Industry Development Program: Delivering Next Gen of Chip Builders.

Between April 10th and 11th, in Kuala Lumpur - Malaysia, representatives of the semiconductor industry, innovation institutions, governments and universities will meet to exchange knowledge and high-impact experiences. This milestone in cooperation between the two countries reinforces the commitment to talent development, technology transfer and international collaboration to boost the semiconductor sector.


Event Highlights

An exclusive event that will bring discussions and presentations on the future of the semiconductor industry, exploring opportunities for collaboration between Brazil and Malaysia to strengthen the production chain and foster new technological initiatives.

On the first day, attendees will enjoy lectures and discussions on government collaborations in the semiconductor industry, including:

  • AWS support in Malaysia for semiconductor design
  • Von Braun Labs success story in Brazil
  • ChipInventor demo
  • Announcing partnership with ASEM for the National Semiconductor Competition

Day two will focus on hands-on experience with the ChipInventor platform, providing activities such as:

  • Verification and Synthesis
  • Cloud-based Prototyping
  • Advanced FPGA design and analog projects
  • Global Launch of ChipInventor

The event will host the global launch of ChipInventor, Von Braun Labs’ new spin-off chip design platform. This innovation will enable professionals and students to design their own semiconductors in an affordable and fully cloud-based manner. We are excited to bring this innovative solution to the market, strengthening the semiconductor industry in both countries.
